Final stretch — December exam in 5 weeks

Alright. I'm done coasting.

December exam is 5 weeks out and I've failed N4 twice already. I know the weak spots: grammar section drags me down every time, and my listening falls apart when they speak at anything above a crawl.

This time I'm not messing around. 2 hours minimum per day, no exceptions. I've got a schedule:

Morning (30 min): grammar drills — focus on ておく、てしまう、conditionals
Lunch (20 min): vocab review, SRS only
Evening (70 min): full practice sections + listening

Weekends I'm doing timed mock tests from start to finish. No pausing the audio. No cheating.

I'm treating this like a second job because clearly treating it like a hobby wasn't working.

N4 or bust. Third time's the charm, right? ...Right?

Somos dos. Cuarta vez acá para mí también — N4 de nuevo en diciembre.

Tu plan de estudio está bueno. Yo hago algo parecido pero me cuesta horrores la sección de gramática. Cada vez que creo que entendí てしまう me aparece un contexto nuevo que no vi venir.

¡Ánimo a los dos! La neta yo también voy con el N4 en diciembre, así que los entiendo perfectamente.

Ese schedule se ve serio. A mí me está costando el listening igual — en cuanto hablan rápido ya perdí el hilo. Pero dicen que si practicas con el simulador seguido, el oído se va acostumbrando.

One thing I track obsessively: consistency beats intensity every time. Two focused hours every day for 5 weeks = 70 hours. That is a real number. That moves the needle.

The schedule looks solid. Only suggestion: build in one full rest day per week. Fatigue in the final week tanks performance more than a missed day of drills ever would.
